A phosphate remover, such as PhosFree, will precipitate the phosphates as a white powder that you will then need to vacuum to waste. However, you may not need to lower your phosphate level unless it's extraordinarily high (>> 3000 ppb). Instead, you just need to maintain a Free Chlorine (FC) level that is at least 7.5% of the Cyanuric Acid (CYA) level and if the CYA level is high than a partial drain/refill will lower it.

There is a company with a product that removes phosphates fast and it is made by United Chemical Corp out of Piru, CA.
