I noticed the liner of our pool is slowly coming off in an area.
The amount of liner coming off is about 18 inches by 2.5 inches mainly due to the plastic strip snapping apart allowing the liner to slip.
The pool is about 20 years old, the liner 8-9 (if that helps).
I would be happy to give any more information if needed.
Here some pictures of the liner. When it is pulled back up, it gives about 3/4 inch back up, but this is only because the loose sagging liner is easy to pull up against the pool wall. Once the liner becomes taught, the remaining 1.75 inches of liner are impossible to bring up. Also, I'm unsure how to get the strip to secure the liner again.

Re: Pool Liner coming off
I would think that your best option would be to replace the liner as it may well be at the end of its useful life
Even trying to refix it if you can find the parts would involve draining down

Re: Pool Liner coming off
Hi everyone I am new!!
Looking for some advice,
I have a new indoor pool whilst installing the liner the installer made a small hole in the liner , in the corner above water line, it has been repaired.
We have been swimming for 4 days and at the far end both the corners have come out of he liner lock , today the installer with much hot water and huffing and puffing it is back in with liner lock on top.
It is very stretched and taut , .
So my question is , how do I know if my liner is to small?
The installer said it is the tightest liner he has ever had , but reluctant to say it's to small..
Any advice would be very welcome.
Thanks in advance.
