POOL WITH A LEAK, SHOULD I DRAIN IT?

Postby scoobymyfatdog » Thu 28 Sep, 2006 19:48

WE HAVE PIN HOLES IN OUR POOL THAT WE CANNOT LOCATE. WE ARE PLANNING TO REPLACE THE LINER NEXT SPRING. IS OK TO DRAIN THE POOL AND KEEP IT THAT WAY DURING THE WINTER OR SHOULD WE FIND THE PINHOLES AND PATCH THEM TO KEEP THE WATER IN FOR THE WINTER?

You should be ok with leaving it drained, unless your in a high wind area, it would be the best to patch and at least fill it half way to add stability to the walls.
