Hole in ag pool wall

I was just releveling out my above ground pool and a found a hole in the pool wall near the bottom wall track. I put a 10/32 scew and washer through it and covered it with duct tape. My question is, is it possable the wall will tear from the pressure even though it is below the sand line. I am paranoid about a collapsing pool and cant stop thinking about it.
