I am thinking about changing my pool liner in my 15x30 above ground. Is it too difficult to handle for a homeowner? Any things to look out for?
Let me add this bit of info first though. Recently, I let the water all out, and got some wrinkles off the floor. I used a vacuum, and a little moving while water filled. Will that be the most difficult thing to do?
Liner Advice?
If you went that far and are handy, you can change a liner. I did a 18' round several years ago. The hardest part was getting all the rusted screws off! Get a bunch of sand and compact/level the bottom and then slowly fill. I left the top of the liner unsecured until the pool was over halfway full to allow for stretching.
Again, if you are more the bob villa type, it's not hard...just go slow and take your time. If screwdrivers frighten you...hire the job out.
