I have a 12x20 with a 48" wall height. We were going to buy a 12x20 with a 52" wall height liner. Does anyone think that we will have problems with installation? The reason for the 52" is simply that we can have a patterned wall instead of plain blue.

If it is a beaded liner, I suspect you'd have a problem. If an overhang liner, I suspect you'd just have more excess to fold under the rail (or trim off).

J Hooks are measured for the exact dimensions of your pool, height of wall so you cannot use a larger one in a smaller pool with shorter walls. There are patterned overlap liners out - rare but there are. shop around.
