Pool Liner Wall is Sagging

Postby Elaine » Wed 13 Jul, 2022 06:20

We just finished building our new 16x26 oval above ground pool and must have messed up the liner positioning. We have sagging liner walls that are not disappearing as we fill it. We have been using a shop vac, but it doesn't seem to help with the opposite wall. Is this salvageable or do we have to drain the pool and re-align the liner?

I would drain and adjust, its only a little water in there at the moment so not too bad.

Unfortunately, that is what I thought the answer was going to be. It may be hard to tell from the photos, but the pool is already almost half full. I wish I had gone with my gut earlier. Thanks for the reply!

That was the answer I was expecting, but not what I was hoping to hear (the pool is actually half full). What do you think the future issues would be if we did continue to fill it?

Creases and dirt/algae hiding places you cant clean. Slight increase in risk of a puncture.

Thanks @teapot1 We did end up draining the pool and are in the process of re-adjusting the liner.
