Replacing Pool Wall...Help Please

Postby Cracked » Wed 28 May, 2008 07:51

Last year we installed a new 24' round above ground pool. Like many others here in Canada our pool was damaged due to heavy snowfall. Our pool wall was damaged as were some of the top rails. Our liner was not damaged. We purchased a new pool as it was cheaper then buying just parts. My question is can we use the existing liner? We had the center floor drain installed. Will this make it easier to get the liner back on the new wall? I have read your forum and am concerned about the liner shrinking. The pool has water to just below the skimmer. If we empty the pool and get the new wall up in the same day will our liner be ok?

The thing is, are you gonna be able to exactly put that liner into the same position in the new pool?

I doubt it.

I would reccommend a new liner but that's just me.
