Pool Liner "Shelf Life"

Postby pool rob » Mon 02 Feb, 2009 19:53

I have been offered a new liner for my 27' above ground pool. It was new in the box last season, they opened the box, spread it out and realized it was too big for his 24' pool. They immediatley re-boxed it and it has been stored in the basement out of the sun since. Should I be scared to use this liner?

I dont think they have a short shelf life. Im guessing one in the box right next to it could be just as old.

Watch out for leaks.

your good to go. I install pools and we do it all the time. As a matter of fact, i used them after they were sitting for a year. the only concern you need to have is that it never got wet. If hte liner was wet then id pass on the deal. other than that.. good to go
