Liner replacement / dirt bottom
I'm having my liner replacement in the pool of the house we bought 3 years ago. We just discovered the bottom is on dirt. I've never had a pool so I don't know is this is ok. Please someone give me some information. The pool company says i need to have it all redone the right way. HELP

Liner replacement / dirt bottom
I'm thinking you have a sand bottom pool which isn't to uncommon. Before the liner is replaced the floor should be trowled so the liner goes over a smooth surface. If there has been a onging leak the floor may need some new sand to repair the washed out areas. If you want to get a long life out of this liner the key is good preparation.
