Hi I have a 18K gallon liner pool
I drained 80% of it by mistake, lots of bubbles and wrinkles showed up and then refilled it
Now there is only wrinkles at the floor
Now i also noticed the water level drops 3 inch a day
I am testing to turn off the pump to isolate the problem and will use dry test
Any tips?

Re: Vinyl liner pool leaking
Call a pool engineer who uses the Anderson leak trac system to find the leak in the liner if its not the plumbing. Shouldn't take more than 30mins to accurately locate the hole. Other systems such as dye are a waste of time and money.

Some toe nail, above ground liners are thinner generally than inground pools but it would have to be a horrible toe nail, liner is tougher than you think normally.

Right. I’m not quite sold on the toe nail theory. But the cause is still unknown and I’ll be pondering possibilities.
