Water Level Low

Newly constucted pool in NE Ohio last summer. It is from Radiant Pools - EPS foam encased in aluminum for the walls. Vermiculite bottom. Safety cover was installed last fall w. an Auador. The water level seems very low. We just had 18" of snow which sat on the cover. The water level appears to be aroung 2 ft lower than it was at closing.

If its 2 feat It is not evaporatiopn!! forgive the spelling dislexic and do not type:]. I M in NC I dont think its that dry in OHIO :). I have been building pools up and down the east coast for the past 35 years. You can fill the pool ,put a bucket of water on the steps and measure the evaporation rate over a day or two. it important the bucket is in the pool so the tempature will be the same. mark the water level in the bucket and the pool.
