Air bubbles in pool

Postby DFWorrell » Wed 11 Jul, 2007 07:43

I have very small air bubbles coming out of my return jet. So after the pump runs for a couple of hours, I get these bubbles all in the pool. What are they and what can I do to stop it.

It's air. Your pump is probably a little bigger than you need so when the filer is clean it creates a tremendous vacuum. You have small leaks in valves, connectors, pump lid basket/gasket/skimmer, etc and it's drawing in air.

It's also not anything to really worry about unless your pump is running dry.
