Pool leaking, need help, how to find leak.
Re. vinyl in ground pool.
Seems to have leak somewhere in pool, not in pump or filter.
What methods, tricks, etc., can I use to locate leak ?
Any constructive recommendations would be appreciated.

you can start by turning off pool equipment for a few days & see if pool water drops. If it does loose water, see if it levels off & stops under something like skimmer, pool light, return lines, inspect vinyl & this would be where the problem can be. If it just keeps draining do not let it empty.

If you loose no water when pool is not running then it's in the pipes & leaking when on.

there are leak detection companies that can help you find it & fix it if your unable to fix it yourself.
