Yes, I know we made a mistake! Cement Pool Peeling

We have a cement pool. It was painted with epoxy paint about 4 years ago. Just 2 weeks ago it was repainted with an acrylic paint. Yes, I know, big mistake. I was not involved in that - just for the record - lol. Now what we have is a mess. The acrylic paint is peeling off, in big pieces, in little pieces. The pool is full and its peak summer season. Is there anything at all we can do besides draining the pool, sand blasting and starting over? And we will do that in the fall, but anything to get through the season? Thanks - and stop laughing.

Nothing I know will help, both of those coatings are crap.
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
