Painting inground pool coping?

Hello,

I have a big old 1970s Esther Williams inground pool. The white fiberglass coping trim(?) is very dull and could use a refresh in paint. Wondering what would be best paint and prepping procedure to look fresh and clean.
Hoping to add a pic but I do not see that feature.
