Why always blue or white? I'm looking at a 'canary yellow' fibreglass resurfacing job and wonder, if anyone got experience with colored fiberglass pools. The resin company itself seems to advise against using it, saying it might fade earlier than other colors (3 instead of the usual 10 years), but I'd be keen to give it a try.
My only fear is the effect of the water on it: will the blue color of the water add to a green pool, if the pool itself is yellow?
I tried researching around with image search, but I can't find any example of a yellow pool, but found a red one on http://www.poolpro.co.za/coloured-pools/ which also talks about potential pitfalls.

So you say it won't look green (unless I had an algae problem)?

Look at a glass of water it's clear
The only reason it looks blue in a pool is because of the blue finish to the pool as shown with the pool image of the colour red
