infinity tile issues

infinity tile issues
I have an infinity pool with small glass tiles on the back side and in the trough. I have a worsening problem of many many tiles coming off. Other than large format tiles that are smoother and can handle more adhesive, is it possible to use an epoxy type plaster or some other surface on the back of the infinity edge other than tile?
