slippery steps - fiberglass pool

We recently resurfaced our pool with fiberglass and epoxy. The stairs are extremely slippery even though we used a gritty substance when doing the stairs. Does anyone know of any kind of "grip strips" that can be adhered to the steps while the pool has water in it? Thanks!

Nothing that will stick for very long. You might try the stuff they sell for bathtubs but I believe you ill have hard time keeping it "stuck".

Have the apllicators re-gelcoat the steps and add more suregrip.
