Hi everyone
New to this discussion board, based in Northern NSW, Australia.
I have a 1970s build pool with a relatively smooth black coating which i'm trying to identify. Someone had badly applied pebble over the top and it's very much delaminated.
Trying to figure out what the black stuff underneath would be and how to go over the top of it.
From the research I've done, marblesheen was in use in the 1970s but was normally white. I've never read anything about black marble so I'm guessing it's a pebblecrete?
Happy to hear suggestions

Me neither, pepple is rough not smooth.
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
