Too Late To Patch?

Postby Guest » Tue 16 Oct, 2007 18:58

I've just lowered the water in my inground gunite pool for winter. I noticed the top step has a lot of hairline cracks in it, which leads me to a few questions.

1) Is EZ-Patch the right type of product to use to repair the cracks?

2) Since there are a lot of cracks should I forget about repairing each one and just recoat the entire step? If so, is EZ-Patch the right product?

3) I'm located in Columbia MD and the nightime temperatures are starting to drop into the 40's with daytime temps 60-80. Is it too late in the season (getting too cold at night) to do this repair?

Thanks in advance,
Frank

If they're hairline cracks that is normal and nothing to worry about. However, if you tap on the area around the cracks and it sounds hollow it's a delamination and in need of repair.
