Pebble Tech Question

I know that there is a difference in all the names out there for pebble tec. My pool builder says he is installing Stonescapes Pebble Tech. Does anyone know exactly what this is and if it is equal quality to the original Pebble Tec? Thanks for any help that can be given.

same thing. plaster with rocks in it but probably a whole lot less money
