Multicoat with Metamax

Postby Henry_R » Tue 08 Jun, 2010 18:50

My homeowner's association pool is being replastered and the contractor who's bidding on the work has written in the bid to use something called multicoat with Metamax. From looking this up online I see the Metamax is a polymer of some kind. Is this worth any extra expense it might cost? The bid is $3900 for just the plaster.

Does that sound too high? How much more is the Metamax that just plain white marble plaster or is it the same just the additive?

Money talks!? All it ever says to me is "goodbye!".
