i have a 10kw air heat pump pool heater
how much water is normal for me to catch in a 10 liter bucket in a day
its 30 degrees plus here and the heater is inside a 12mtr x 5 mtr tent which covers my pool
this is my first pool heater but had and worked on pools for years

Well when the air pump is running it discharged cold water doesn’t it???

i have my heat pump inside the 12 x 5 tent with my pool but it discharges a lot of water
should i move the heatpump outside

Right you're talking about an air source heat pump whhich transfers heat from the air to the pool water
Thay are normally exposed to the external atmosphere draw heat from the air and expell the cold air with the fan
In cold weather they ice up and automatically defrost which is the water you see (like a refrigerater in reverse)
If it's inside a tent you are restricted on the amount of air being introduced into the unit and mixing the expelled cold air with the warm air
I would move it outside
