My Pool: Plannig to build an inground pool at our property.
and i wanna be the gen.contractor to save money. size would be 300 sq.meter.
5 ft. deep , hayward swimclear cartridge filter C5030.
pump 3 HP Hayward Super II Pump SP3025X30AZ...
now the people that i have consulted told me that the size of the pool that
i'm running is gonna need to have 2 pump 1.5 hp each and also 2 pool filters
for each pump.... now i would like to ask if it is o.k to get a 3hp pump and
attach to filters on in too save money.. my idea is that, when the pump sucks
water from the pool. the pump will directly distributed the water evenly to both
of the filter.. it's like the volume of water that the pump is pumping to the filter
would be separated like a y shape coupling. so the water will have different direction
going to each filter.. would that be possible..?
anyone can give advice. you can email me at jam_lui_6@yahoo.com

Plumb your 2 cartridge filters in a series. Set them together in the same direction. Use a pvc 90 degree tee connector in such a fashion, that the water is equally distributed to both filters.

this is a rough diagram, note the Tee connector position after the pump. Make sure your pipe lengths are both equal distance once they come out of the PVC Tee connector into the filters.

* correction on my part, plumb your cartridge filters in parallel, not series.
