Brand new Pentair de filter with wisperflow pump new pool water after cleaning the filter and adding new de I cant make it through one cleaning with out the preasure rising to cleaning levels?Do you think the grids are bad from new?

What is the size of the filter, pool and pump?
Also, are you fighting an algae bloom? That can clog up a filter very quickly. If so, you will want to run the filter on recirculate and shock the pool to kill all the algae. Then you can vacuum to waste to remove it. This will save on DE.
