Unidentified pipes near my pool

I can see the pipe itself appears to be older and the 4-way fittings on top are new. I've never seen this configuration before as shown installed on pools. :eh:

If you have a built-in hot tub with the pool:
These are most likely fresh air intake pipes for the hot tub jets to make that bubble action.
Turn the spa jets on and if you hear gurgling noise from the pipes, that's exactly what they are.

If you do not have a hot tub
My next possible guesses would be;
- these are severed solar heating lines that are cut and not used anymore.
- these are severed pipes from a pop-up floor cleaner system no longer used(your pool would be dotted on the floor with what looks like circular plastic caps)
- these are severed pipes from a water feature that is no longer there, such as a slide, fountain or waterfall.
- chances are, these pipes were the previous owners idea of a garden support system and have no relation to the pool whatsoever.

This would have been my guess as well. If you have a shop vac or something similar you could try forcing some air into one of the pipes and see if it shoots into the pool/spa.
