I am a seriously novice pool owner. Am wondering if there is something wrong with my pump. I know there should be some swooshing sound but is this a normal sounding pump??
See youtube link https://youtu.be/lpmASfNfvHk
If you need me to I can make a longer recording.
The pump is fairly old but seems to function well. Its just noisy. Seems some loose clicky/ grinding sound? Normal? Please help and listen to it. Thanks in advance.

Re: Loud Pool Pump? Something wrong??
Has this noise just occured or has it been there for a long time
It may be worth stripping down and checking to see if anything is trapped inside or loose
Other than that seeing as the pump is old, run it untill it stops and then replace it
