- My Pool: Rectangular 4 steps center at end of pool. 18 x 36 30,000 gal 8 foot deep end. STA-Rite System 2 Filtration PLM200 cartridge filter. Haywood Super Pump 1 HP.
Haywood Super Pump 1HP
Turned pump off last night and tried to turn it back on this morning and it just makes a noise but nothing else happens then it throws the breaker. I think the motor has seized up and may need to be replaced. Could it be something else? Also, if I need to get a new motor can I replace it with a 1.5 or 2.0 HP?
