replace PVC pipes

replace PVC pipes

I need to replace the PVC pipes on the inlet and outlet of my pump. They are labeled as 2 inch schedule 40. But, the 2 inch schedule 40 fittings I bought don't fit. Any suggestions?

Take a sample of the pipe to the store to match up the fittings
