Can anyone please tell me what the problem is here?
The pool company just replaced my Hayward Multi Port Valve because the old one was leaking from a hidden crack.
They left without explaining anything. They just told my wife that it was all fine now.
Next, I do and look at the new Multi Port Valve and its leaking from a hole. It looks like its a hole that something screws into, but nothing is there.
The main hoses all seem fine to and from the pump and pool, and the back wash hose, all seem fine. The hole is smaller than a dime.
This is a Hayward Veriflow Muliport Valve.
Any ideas?

It might be a plug missing if I understand you correctly.

Did it come with a manual?

No, there was no manual. Yes it does look like a plus is missing, but I am not sure.
Again, this was a replacement. I was not there when the guys left, and they took the old one too.
Everything else looks normal. Wish I could attach a video here

Re: water coming from hole in Multiport valve
I just did some more research and went outside and looked at the unit.
It has no pressure gauge. I think this hole, from which water is gushing, is where a pressure gauge goes.
Could i be correct?

Yes you are correct a pressure gauge should fit in there.
Did your old MPV have a gauge. If so they should have moved it over or plugged it off
Get them back, or if you can't wait get a pressure gauge up to 30 PSI they aren't dear
I would definately contact them either way because they couldn't have tested it when the replaced your MPV, bad show
Re: water coming from hole in Multiport valve
This company makes a lot of mistakes. They always seem so rushed when they come. Very little communication with the customer.
Re: water coming from hole in Multiport valve
And yes, the old MPV had a gauge. They took it away
