How do I replace an old pump?

Postby Jojodm001 » Thu 16 Jan, 2020 00:59

Our old pool pump has died and I’ve bought the exact same pump as a replacement. I don’t have any shut off valves on any pipes to turn off prior to removing the old ones. Do I need to turn the water off at the mains?

Thanks in advance

You don't need to turn off your mains water
Depending on your pump location in relation to your pool will determine if you can just uncouple and reconnect
