Rusted out leak around bulkhead

Hello everyone. Was just getting the pool ready for our traditional dip on Memorial Day weekend no matter what and water was leaking from around the bulkhead. I removed it to see if it was bypassing the gaskets and it was. The problem is the saltwater has rusted the outer shell of the pool so before I simply get new gaskets to replace them I want to know if the condition of this is going to prevent me from getting a proper seal. If it is, how do I rectify this issue?
