Hi all

i'm in the process of converting a magiline pool to a traditional sand filter with 3-phase pump hooked up to a cheap VFD. I want to add a temp probe, chlorine injection and ORP probe port to the return line. There will also be a salt electrolyser which I've salvaged from the magiline installation - this has ports for pH +/- injection, probe, earth and a flow switch.

My question is two fold:

1. is there guidance on _where_ to install the electrolyser vis a vis the filter? In terms of height. Should any part of the electrolyser be above/below the return from the filter, for example?

2. for the temp probe, orp and chlorine injection, is it ok to inject these ports directly into the return line (before the manifold to the pool returns)?

I have a feeling that the answer is obvious, and that I'm over worrying. For some reason I can get my head around electronics but always have trouble with hydraulics!

thanks in advance
Justin
