My pool pump just suddenly stopped working. I removed he back cover and discovered one of the connections had been burned and broken.
The pump is only a few months old. It seemed to run perfectly fine until now. The outside of the motor never seemed to be overly hot, even after running for hours at a time.
Two questions. Can this be repaired? What could have caused this?
