Hi all. New here, with an issue I hope to get help with....
I have an in-ground pool with the Caretaker pop-up head cleaning system. I recently got it running after it was inoperative for a while. I rebuilt the caretaker unit with new pistons and gears. I love seeing and hearing it do it's thing, as well as having pretty much a maintenance free pool again. There is one issue though... when the pool pump cycle is complete, and it shuts off, there's an eruption of water that comes up and out of the skimmer area. Knocks the basket up and the cover off. Anyone have any idea why it's doing this? Thank in advance.

Re: Eruption at Pump Shut-down
Seems like you have air probably in your filter which is acting like a buffer, you can compress air not water
