Two valves in one line

Postby peter1969 » Fri 12 Mar, 2021 11:19

Hi, I have a check valve and spring valve in the outlet line coming to hottub. Is it necessary to have two valves preventing backflow? I think one valve would be enough. My concern is that two valves make significant resistance to water flow, so pump and filtering are not as effective as they can be with just one valve.
