Above Ground Kid Pool

Good Morning everyone. I am new to this forum, and I had a question.

I had a couple of questions:

1. Regarding the pump and filter. This pump seems to be overkill, but I also wanted to add a skimmer and a LED waterfall. Would this pump work well for my project?

2. My last question is about bonding/grounding. I know that in ground pols require bonding for the pump and metallic components, especially when within 5 ft of the home structure. Does the same apply for this above the ground pool and pump?
