Hi,
As I'm about to install a new Heat Pump, I need to relocate my existing Variable Speed Pump and Sand filter to accommodate new heat pump. As currently pump and filter are side by side.

My question is, is it ok to separate the pump and Sand filter( actually Glass media) by approx. 1.5m apart and pipes to go under ground and back up between the two so I don't close off my existing walk way?

appreciate your advise on this.

Yes thats ok, try to make use of radius bends or two 45 bends rather than tight 90 knuckle bends.
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
