Help Identify Filter Pls

Help Identify Filter Pls

I recently bought a house with a pool, most of the equipment looks pretty dated (to me).

Can someone help identify the type of filter this is? I'm guessing it's a sand filter?

I want to make sure it's all good and learn how to maintain it. Thanks!

Yes it is a sand filter

Thanks! There are no markings on the filter. When I need to change out the sand, how many pounds does it require?

It looks like a 24" diameter?
