Hayward Ecostar SVP3400 help

Postby SunnyD » Sun 21 May, 2023 16:50

Hi everyone. I just purchased a used variable pump to replace my Hayward super pump.

I connected everything and it powers up but there is nothing on the screen. The blue LED lights turn on but they do not activate the pump.

I called the guy I got it from and he contacted his electrician who said it was configured to work with an automation unit or something.

The electrician told him I likely have to reconfigure it back to work with the display that comes on top of the pump. He said there is likely some sort of jumper or something to do that.

Is anyone familiar with how I configure this? I'd hate to disconnect it and bring it to a shop. There are a LOT of stairs I have to climb up. haha

So it does look like my pump is missing these two connectors (in picture). These are to connect to automation units. Not sure if I need these but maybe this is causing the issue
