Hayward Super II 1.5hp housing gasket leak

Postby sandrogrima » Wed 07 Jun, 2023 10:37

I have a leak (pic) between the seal plate and the housing. Go a go kit and replaced the shaft, diffuser and housing gaskets. Same problem. Took everything apart again, cleaned everything, replaced again with new seal, same problem. Tried different amount of torque on bolts. As I made small adjustments to each bolt leak moves to top/side but never full seals. Help!!

Normally leaks occur between the motor shaft seal
