I just replaced the two filter lines going from and too the pool.
When I turned the filter on, I noticed that there was a humming coming from the return hose. I put my hand around it and applied a little pressure and the humming stopped. Once i let go, it started humming again.
Anyone have any advice on what may be causing this how I might stop it?
Thanks in advance.

What's it humming?
Something is loose somwhere causing a vibration.

Yankee Doodle
All the band clamps are tight, otherwise, I would assume those hoses would have blown off by now.
Could it be that the return line is drooping and hanging free? This didn't occur with the old hoses. Just a little odd and i want to make sure that the situation isn't going to worsen and cause other, larger problems.

I think I would check the pump impeller to make sure nothing has entered the space in between to make it go off balance
