Clogged Pool filter line

I have some kind of obstruction in the filter line between the skimmer basket and the filter in my inground pool. A plumber has come out with one of those snake things and couldn't clear the line because he said there was a bend in the line that kept his snake from moving forward. Need help!! What do I try next?

Buy a shovel and start digging.

If a plumber with a snake can't clear the clog, you will have to replace the pipe. :(
