using 2 pumps?
using 2 pumps?
I have a 15x48 sun and sand metal framed pool, this pool came with a 800 gal per hour pump. I also have a 500gph pump from my pool I had last year... I have been fighting a algae problem and was curious if I could connect these 2 pumps and run them togther to try filtering the pool better?
You cannot connect two pumps together in series without damaging one or both.
You want to use the pump that will "turn over" your pool (filter all the water) in 8-10 hours. If you know how many gallons your pool holds it will be easy as you already know the GPH.
