intermatic t101 mechanical timer switch

Postby help » Sun 11 May, 2008 12:13

Just bought my 2nd one of these, wired per the diagram and the timer unit will not work. This will turn on the pump if I manually turn the master on switch, but the timer will not work.

Using 115v 1 hp pump. Anyone have any experience with this or a similiar timer.

55 bucks each and no luck.

If I remember correctly there is a little opening in the clock where you can see the gears of the clock. If they aren't turning, it isn't working.

There is a small motor in the back of the clock with wires that come to the front of the whole assembly. Those wires need to be in the right spots for the motor to receive power.

If the gears aren't turning then the wires from the motor may be in the wrong locations.

OK,

Replaced it with new mech timer, timer mechanism ran for an hour then shut off, main switch still works but not auto on and off.

Guess I have an electrical issue........not sure what at this point..../cry
