Spa water level

I have a spa attached to my pool and with the auqalogic set to spa the water level drops below the jets, any ideas to what the problem might be, cant call the pool man, he went out of business. thanks

When the equipment is on and set to spa, check to see if there is any water returning to the pool. If so, the valve on the return side is probably not completely closing.
