Plumbing for solar panels

We have a 27' above ground pool. We bought one of those new solar heating systems for it this spring. We have been trying to hook it up for several days now. Seems easy enough, but there are many threaded connections, we have tried the teflon tape that came with it, clear sealant, and another type of plumbing sealant for pvc water pipes. Many of the joints continue to drip. Is there anything you can recommend using in these threaded joints to stop the dripping? :wtf:
