Draining green pool

Postby jcne2015 » Sat 20 Aug, 2016 17:52

We have fought the green algae for about a month in our AGP and finally started draining it on Thursday. We used the Vacume as a siphon. It got tof about a foot left (we have 13,500 gallons) and stopped running out. Our pool has a bottom drain that is plumbed in to the pump. Can I use that to finish draining the pool? There are 2 ports, and if I'm seeing things right, the port 2 is the bottom drain. The pool was here when we moved in and there is no manual.
Thanks for any help!

I don't have a bottom drain but if you can use it, give it a go
You will soon know if it works
Don't run It dry for long
