Re: FLOC ISN'T WORKING
I would skim them off whilst its easier. Using flocculent properly is some of the problem with pools. Just dumping another bottle of this or that into the pool seldom achieves much. That is a general point and not a criticism. What flocculent did you use and how did you use it?
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.

Re: FLOC ISN'T WORKING
I know this wasn’t posted recently, but I seem to be having a similar problem… my pool is a nice lagoon blue color but so super cloudy. I tried to wait, and I did the whole SLAM process a couple of times… nothing changed. I decided to floc it… even left the pump off for 24 hrs. Nothing settled. My numbers are good:
Free chlorine - 4.69
Total chlorine - 5.09
ph - 7.7
Alkalinity - 104
Cyanuric acid - is a little low at 20 (but this has never caused me cloudiness in the past)
My pool is in ground 36,000 gallons, vinyl liner… I have had this pool for over 10 yrs and have never been stumped like this.
There is no sign of live algae.

What filter do you have Rconley18?
How did you add the floc?
